Here's no.18 again, this time in colour. I did this in school when I was supposed to be working on my website.

This is a scaled down version. About 3 hours in photoshop with an optical mouse. Couldn't think of anything to put into the background, so I dumped in a cheap-o gradient.

A lot of details that I'm still not too proud of, but if you don't notice, then I won't say anything. Enjoy.

This is the second of three shirts that I'm doing for my assignment.

I can't really decide between the two pictured here. The dots were my initial idea, but I think it looks fine without them as well. Lemme know what you think.

The finished design will be printed onto shirts (together with the other two) and sold for about $19 per piece. Just leave a comment here or e-mail me if you want one.

And yes, that is me playing the guitar. I taught my mom how to use my camera, and she sort of went picture-crazy for a while.

By the way, the Japanese words mean "good morning", and is pronounced "oh-hai-yo". Or something. Haha.

And yes, that Is my way messy desktop beside my bed in my room. As you can see, I'm pretty much forced to do work on top of my laptop sometimes.

Rook Tees

Okay, here's a sample of what I've been up to:

It's a t-shirt for the band "Rook" (y'know, the one I did the logo for earlier). Three versions: The plain one in the middle, one with a Union Jack on the left, and the "Japanese waves" one on the right.

I'm gonna be making a silkscreen of this. I couldn't decide on which one to use, so I'm just gonna make the plain one and hand-draw in details on the shirt itself.

If you want one, do let me know and send me a t-shirt that you want it printed on. I promise I won't charge you too much... Haha!

Hey all,

Sorry for the lack of updates, people. Right now I'm trying to change my work into an entirely different genre. To tell the truth, I never did like 70% of the stuff I put here (but the other 30% I absolutely love). It's up to you to decide which pieces of work I'm talking about. I'm gonna leave them all here though, so that in the future I can look back and laugh (or cry) at myself.

Okay, enough talk. Here's the update everyone (myself included) has been waiting for:

Okay, don't expect to be blown away. This here's a few logos I've come up with for my final project. Chill, it's far from finished, but I do appreciate some constructive criticism. So fire away.

Okay, I've changed the concept and re-did the graphics. Enjoy. Personally, I think this is one of those things i'd want to print on a t-shirt (if only just for myself). Woo, mad posting frenzy! I'm inspired (and sleepy). I think i'll take a nap after this. I'll probably do a series of like graphics. I'm thinking of Miss Muffet, Jack and the Beanstalk, Hansel and Gretel. Comment please! I need to know how to improve.

Hey. Just came back from a short trip to Taipei, Taiwan. Got a bit antsy, so i decided to try out Macromedia Freehand. I mean, since i would most probably have to get to know how to use it efficiently anyway. So here's the result of my first attempt at Freehand (Okay, so I cheated a bit and did the colours in Photoshop)!

Version 01

Version 02

Two versions. technically, Version 01 is the proper way it should look. Somehow, though, i like Version 02 better.
Something went wrong with my Photoshop when i tried to save Version 02, so the one pictured here was edited from Version 01 (hope i didn't lose anybody there). As a result, i added a slight Gaussian Blur and some visual noise to sort of "even things out".
This is the first in a series that i call "Sit, think". I want everything to look like it's straight out of a 1970s comic book (like some Andy Warhol or Roy Lichtenstein). Pop art has some major influence on me, and i think the concept and execution drive each other very well (as well as being a variation in work style for me). Enough rambling! Enjoy!

Done in 45min
Done to save myself from insanity by overwork.

I did this after i got inspired by the book, "Give It All To Him". It's about this guy who takes people's past sin and regret (trash/garbage), and empties it upon himself. The way it's written is really something. Plus, it's short and sweet (I finished reading it in 45min).

So yeah, good, short, cheap book. Inspirational, applicable stuff. "Give it All to Him" by Max Lucado.

Hello. Watched The Crow last night, and i thought it was a really good movie. really sad about brandon lee though. oh, for those who don't know, brandon lee is bruce lee's son. he got killed while filming this movie in a botched shoot out scene. there was a real bullet that got lodged in the gun... argh, another really cool guy who died way too young. anyway, this is like a tribute to him. yeah, done in school.

It's for the new school of design (which includes my course) and the "up theres" wanted something vintage-y cool. so yeah, here it is.
